The twelfth edition of the Ignitis ON electric‑vehicle endurance competition took place across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, linking the scientific hubs of Kaunas, Cēsis and Tartu. Teams had eight hours to travel the route while obeying traffic rules and using public charging stations. The French‑made Citroën ë‑C5 Aircross, driven by Oksana R. and Paulius, covered 583 km, securing third place on the podium, just one kilometre behind the Škoda Enyaq RS in second and trailing the Volkswagen ID. 3 Pro S that won the event.

The competition emphasizes real‑world driving conditions, requiring strategic route planning, energy management and compliance with speed limits. Vehicles were monitored continuously by onboard cameras to enforce fair play. Citroën’s performance demonstrated the SUV’s capability to handle long distances without compromising efficiency, highlighting advances in electric‑mobility technology.
