Citroën posts strong C3 Aircross sales in France, unveils new C5 Aircross pricing
In the first half of 2026, Citroën recorded 16,064 registrations of its C3 Aircross in France, placing the model fourth in the B‑SUV segment and 17th overall among passenger cars. This performance marks the model’s best half‑year result since 2019. The fully electric e‑C3 Aircross accounted for 27.56% of those sales (4,427 units), positioning Citroën second among electric B‑SUVs in France behind Renault’s model and ahead of Peugeot’s e‑2008.
Separately, Citroën detailed the specifications and pricing of the C5 Aircross, now starting at €28,900. Built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, the C5 offers a spacious “C‑Zen Lounge” interior, a large central touchscreen and advanced comfort seats with hydraulic cushions. It is available with three powertrains: a 145‑hp mild hybrid, a 195‑hp plug‑in hybrid with an 85 km electric range, and a fully electric version delivering 210 hp (73 kWh battery, up to 520 km range) or a 230‑hp long‑range variant (97 kWh, up to 680 km). Luggage capacity reaches 651 liters.
