Citroën promotes Basalt Dark Edition SUV in Brazil
Citroën is promoting its Basalt Dark Edition Turbo 200, a top-tier SUV coupé variant specifically developed for the Brazilian market. The vehicle features a 1.0 Turbo Flex three-cylinder engine that produces up to 130 HP when using ethanol, paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
The Dark Edition is distinguished by aesthetic upgrades including 16-inch dark alloy wheels, black emblems, red accents inspired by André Citroën, and a dark interior with red stitching. While designed primarily for urban environments, the model offers a 490-liter trunk and a 2.64-meter wheelbase to accommodate family travel.
As part of a promotional tour, the vehicle will be showcased at the Bem Black event in Santos, Brazil, an event celebrating Afro-Brazilian music and culture.
