Citroën unveils C5 Aircross II and pits it against the Grand C4 SpaceTourer

Citroën has introduced the second‑generation C5 Aircross, a midsize SUV positioned as a successor to its older C4 Picasso/SpaceTourer MPV. The new model offers five seats, a slightly longer and wider body than the Grand C4 SpaceTourer, higher ground clearance, and a larger cargo capacity when configured for five occupants. In contrast, the Grand C4 SpaceTourer retains a seven‑seat layout with a marginally longer wheelbase and a higher maximum luggage volume when the rear seats are folded. While the C5 Aircross emphasizes SUV styling and higher ride height, the SpaceTourer continues to focus on practical minivan‑type space.
