Citroën unveils electric 2CV Concept and Fourgonnette at Paris Motor Show
At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, Citroën unveiled the 2CV Concept, a modern, all-electric reinterpretation of its historic icon. The compact vehicle, measuring approximately 3.76 meters, aims for a target entry price of around €15,000. Designed to serve as an accessible urban city car, the concept retains recognizable retro elements such as round headlights, a curved silhouette, and a roll-up canvas roof.
Alongside the passenger car, the brand introduced the 2CV Fourgonnette Concept, an electric light commercial vehicle version. While the Fourgonnette is described as a design exercise intended to honor the spirit of the original workhorse, Citroën has not yet announced a short-term production timeline for the van.
The 2CV passenger model is expected to enter series production around 2028. Stellantis has indicated that production for the related passenger model may take place in Italy. The project aims to bridge the gap between the small Ami and the C3, focusing on simple, functional, and affordable electric mobility.
