Citroën expands C5 Aircross range with new hybrid and long‑range electric models
Citroën has broadened its C5 Aircross SUV lineup with several new versions. The 2026 C5 Aircross Hybrid 145 MAX combines a 1.2‑litre turbo‑charged engine with a 16 kW electric motor, delivering 145 hp and advanced comfort features such as heated, ventilated and massaging seats, a 13‑inch vertical touchscreen, and a suite of driver‑assist systems.
The brand also introduced the ë‑C5 Aircross 230 Long‑Range, a fully electric variant equipped with a 97 kWh battery that offers up to 679 km (WLTP) of range. It can charge from 20 % to 80 % in about 27 minutes on a 160 kW DC fast‑charger and supports 11 kW AC charging. The Long‑Range model is offered in MAX trim with Matrix LED headlights and a 360° camera, priced at €49,690 in Germany and €50,890 in Spain. Both the hybrid and electric versions share the STLA Medium platform and target families seeking spaciousness, low emissions and premium comfort.
Citroën announced a July promotional campaign to support the new models, highlighting the C5 Aircross’s combination of comfort‑focused design and modern technology across its European markets.
