Città di Castello hospital receives new medical technology
The Città di Castello hospital has integrated two new high-tech medical devices funded by the Lascito Mariani endowment. The investment, totaling over 135,000 euros, aims to modernize the facility's technological capabilities.
The new equipment includes an EP-Tracer ProCart Dual Monitor electrophysiological polygraph for the Cardiology department, costing 84,790 euros, and a SynergyID 4K hysteroscopy column for Obstetrics and Gynecology, priced at 50,617.80 euros. The polygraph allows specialists to simultaneously record and visualize surface and intracardiac signals, facilitating procedures such as transcatheter ablations.
This technological upgrade is part of a broader modernization program, with further acquisitions expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
