Città di Castello hosts 24th Italian Rulletto Championship

The 24th Italian Championship of rulletto took place in Città di Castello, Italy, under the patronage of the municipality and organized by the ASD Alto Tevere, chaired by Norberto Pietricci. The event, run by the Federazione Italiana Giochi e Sport Tradizionali (FIGeST), attracted more than 150 players from Umbria, Tuscany, Marche, Emilia‑Romagna and Calabria.

In the A‑category final, Marche athletes swept the podium with Roberto Mercanti (Fabriano), Enio Malassisi (Apiro) and Eugenio Cofani (Fabriano). The B‑category was dominated by Perugini, with Davide Famiani, Jacopo Iannelli and Rinaldo Mancini taking first, second and third places. A mixed A/B category saw a double win for Marche players. Overall Italian champions were Luca Massi (now based in Sassoferrato) and Matteo Carbonari (Pergola), with Sauro Francescangeli and Andrea Carbini sharing third place. The ceremony was attended by national delegate Adriano Spadoni, regional sports department president Mauro Sabatini and other officials. The next national championship is scheduled for Montecavallo in early September.
