Città di Castello hosts animal welfare parade

The second edition of ‘Amici a 4 zampe in passerella’ was held at the Castello shopping center in Città di Castello to raise awareness for animal welfare and adoption.

Organized in collaboration with the Lerchi shelter managed by Enpa Sezione Alto Tevere, the event featured a dog parade for both purebred and mixed-breed dogs. The initiative included food collection for cats and dogs and a ‘Gatti da copertina’ contest. Winners included Sam, an Australian Shepherd named most beautiful, and Maggie, a Jack Russell named most charming. Special recognition for the oldest participants was shared by two 13-year-old dogs, Daisy and Pachino.
