City Bell residents march to protest rising crime in Savoia

Residents of the Savoia neighborhood in City Bell held a march to protest a recent wave of crime. The demonstration moved through Avenida Cantilo toward the local police station, with participants chanting for increased security.

The protest was triggered by a violent home invasion on Friday night, where five hooded individuals entered a residence and tied up an elderly couple while demanding valuables. Local residents reported that insecurity has been a long-standing issue, leading many to install private alarms and security bars on their homes.
