The City Biathlon Dresden 2026 is scheduled for August 23, serving as a high-profile summer event for elite biathletes ahead of the 2026/2027 season. The competition features a 2.3km roller ski course through Dresden's city center, passing landmarks such as the Semperoper and the Elbe riverbanks.

In the women's field, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet will participate following the last-minute withdrawal of Amy Baserga. Other notable competitors include Olympic champion Lisa Vittozzi, Vanessa Voigt, Janina Hettich-Walz, Tereza Vobornikova, and Lora Hristova.

The men's competition features defending champion Eric Perrot alongside favorites such as Sturla Holm Lægreid and German athletes Philipp Nawrath, Philipp Horn, and Justus Strelow. The event includes qualification races and finals for both genders, with the final races scheduled for live broadcast on ZDF.
