City Boy Movement appoints Isaac Balami to executive board

The City Boy Movement has appointed aviation entrepreneur and political mobiliser Isaac Balami to its executive board and as the National Director on Special Duty. Balami, who recently departed from the Obidient Movement, has been working to mobilise support groups and political associates toward the All Progressives Congress (APC).

His appointment is seen as a strategic move to bolster President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 campaign mobilisation, particularly within the North and Middle Belt regions. Supporters note that Balami is the first Christian from Northern Nigeria to serve on the board, which is intended to enhance the representation of diverse ethnic, religious, and regional interests within the movement.

The appointment was formally presented by the movement's Director-General, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, and National Secretary, Hon. Tosin Odufuwa. The development was also confirmed by Seyi Tinubu.
