City Boy Movement clarifies Kwara State inauguration postponement

The City Boy Movement has issued a clarification regarding the postponement of its planned inauguration in Kwara State. According to a statement signed by Director-General Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, the delay was caused by necessary adjustments to scheduling and planning arrangements rather than political disagreements.

The group denied reports suggesting the event was boycotted or cancelled due to friction with the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the state government. The Movement emphasized its commitment to collaborating with the APC, the Kwara State Government, and various community stakeholders.

Moving forward, the organization stated it remains dedicated to grassroots mobilization, youth engagement, and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’. A new date for the Kwara State inauguration will be announced through official channels.
