City Boy Movement expands operations and leadership in Nigeria

The City Boy Movement, a political group supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC), is expanding its presence and leadership in Nigeria. In Kebbi State, Governor Nasir Idris unveiled a campaign office in Birnin Kebbi, designating it as a strategic hub for advocacy and mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections. The governor emphasized the need for party unity and grassroots engagement to communicate the achievements of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

Simultaneously, Amir Kashim Shettima, son of Vice President Kashim Shettima, has emerged as the national co-patron of the City Boy Movement. Previously unknown to the public, Amir’s involvement marks a significant shift in his visibility within the political sphere. His emergence follows a period of privacy maintained by his father, who has historically kept his family away from political limelight.
