City Boy Movement launches mobilization drives in Nigeria

The City Boy Movement (CBM) has launched several mobilization initiatives in Nigeria aimed at increasing political and social engagement among specific demographics.

During a press conference organized by the Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria (SCIAN) to mark World Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day, Mohammed Abba Isa, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, called on persons with disabilities to join the CBM. He emphasized that sustaining progress in disability inclusion and social protection requires active participation in the democratic process and advocacy for government policies.

In a separate event in Kaduna State, the CBM inaugurated campus ambassadors across various tertiary institutions, including Ahmadu Bello University and Kaduna Polytechnic. Sunday Asefon, National Director of the CBM Students Wing, stated that the movement aims to advance the interests of Nigerian students and youths. He noted that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to transforming the education sector and expanding access to quality education.
