City Library concludes Summer in the Library 2026 program

The City Library concluded its annual ‘Summer in the Library’ manifestation on September 3. The program, which has been held for over two decades, featured a variety of free workshops designed for children and young people to learn, create, and socialize during the summer break.

Key activities included a literary journey exploring six neighboring countries through books and characters, and a summer camp hosted by the Blackbird Foreign Language School, which included an exhibition at the Nature Center in Ovčar Banja. Other workshops focused on floral aesthetics and creative storytelling through kamishibai (paper theater).

Participants' work from the summer sessions is currently displayed on panels in the Children and Youth Department and will remain on view for the next month.
