City of Radiance emerges as top-rated Chinese drama

While several high-profile Chinese dramas such as Gả Kim Thoa, Ngọc Điệm Thu, and Thượng Công Chúa have recently dominated social media, they have faced criticism regarding script quality, acting, and pacing. In contrast, the TVB production City of Radiance (Thành Phố Rực Rỡ) has gained significant traction due to its strong script and impressive ratings.

City of Radiance is a 20-episode series centered on business warfare and power struggles within the wealthy Quan family, owners of the Thượng Lợi Phong corporation. The plot follows Chairman Quan Chí Sâm as he appoints his two sons, Quan Hiếu Hiền and Quan Hiếu Quân, as co-general managers, triggering a competitive struggle. The series stars Trương Trí Lâm, Ngô Trác Hy, Cao Hải Ninh, Trương Hy Văn, and Khương Đại Vệ.
