City of Whittlesea launches inclusive sports grants program

The City of Whittlesea has launched the Fair Access Grant Program to support local sporting clubs in creating more inclusive and equitable environments. The program offers up to $3,000 per grant to help clubs address participation barriers and improve structures, specifically aiming to enable more women, girls, and gender-diverse people to participate in sport.

Eligible applicants must be registered not-for-profit sporting clubs within the Council area that align with the Council's Fair Access Policy. Applications are due by September 6, with successful recipients to be notified on October 15, 2026. Projects must be completed within 12 months of approval.
