City University of Hong Kong investigates orientation camp misconduct

Controversy continues to surround an orientation camp (Ocamp) at the City University of Hong Kong following the release of new photos showing students with bruises and red marks. The images, which reportedly originated from a participant's social media, depict several male and female students lifting their clothing to reveal bruising on their thighs and large red marks on their backs.

These photos follow a previously viral video showing a shirtless male student carrying a female student wearing only red underwear. In response to the escalating incidents, City University has established a disciplinary investigation committee to address serious mismanagement and individual misconduct.

The student group responsible for organizing the activities, the Management Science Discipline Association, has issued a public apology. Following the incident, the Student Union announced it has dissolved the current executive committee in accordance with existing mechanisms.
