Ciudad de Pie pizzeria launches first Braille menu in Valparaíso

The Ciudad de Pie pizzeria in Valparaíso has implemented the first updated Braille menu in a local gastronomic establishment. The initiative was developed through a collaboration between restaurant co-founder Renato Colombo and Javiera Estefani, a journalist and founder of the brand Audacia.

The menu, located at the Plaza Ecuador establishment, has already been tested by blind individuals to ensure accessibility. This project also marks the launch of the Audacia printing press, which aims to encourage other businesses in the region and throughout Chile to adopt inclusive tools and accessible menus to promote autonomy for visually impaired customers.
