Ciudad Juárez authorities investigate multiple homicides and sexual assault cases
Authorities in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, are investigating several violent incidents involving homicide and sexual assault.
In one case, Héctor Hugo R. P. was placed in pretrial detention for an alleged firearm-related homicide that occurred near the Portal del Roble residential area.
Another significant development involves the arrest of Pablo G. H., a 36-year-old man wanted for attempted aggravated feminicide and aggravated rape against a minor. He was apprehended in the San Antonio neighborhood and remains under judicial control.
Additionally, law enforcement responded to two separate discoveries of deceased individuals. In the El Campanario neighborhood, a body was found wrapped in a sheet showing signs of violence. In the Sierra Vista area, authorities located the dismembered remains of a woman in a desert zone. This marks the third female victim of violence in the city during September. The Fiscalía Especializada de la Mujer is leading the investigations into these cases.
Separately, legal proceedings continue regarding Mario Gabriel P. P., a business owner accused of aggravated sexual abuse against his five-year-old daughter. A judge recently denied a search warrant to locate him, citing insufficient evidence that he was currently inside the specified residence.
