Ciudad Juárez implements urban maintenance and social programs

The municipal government of Ciudad Juárez, led by Mayor Héctor Rafael Ortiz Orpinel, is conducting various urban maintenance and social assistance programs. Infrastructure efforts include daily pothole repair and street leveling, with recent focus on the Juárez-Porvenir highway and Boulevard Manuel Talamás Camandari following heavy rains. Additionally, the 'Juárez Amanece Limpio' program has reached 80 neighborhoods, aiming for 110 by the end of the year through cleaning and public space recovery.

In terms of water management, the Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento (JMAS) has expanded its treated water network (the 'purple line') from 100 kilometers in 2019 to approximately 400 kilometers. This infrastructure now serves over 150 residential developments and 1,000 public parks to conserve potable water.

Social and health initiatives are also active. The 'Cruzada por Juárez' provided food and supplies to families in the La Enramada neighborhood, while a health fair in Anapra offered medical consultations, vaccinations, and free documentation services. Furthermore, legislative efforts are underway to rehabilitate parks in the Pradera Dorada sector to benefit over 45,000 residents.
