Security forces launch localized prevention operations in Mexico
Security forces are conducting various localized operations to enhance public safety and protect property. In Ciudad Juárez, the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) has coordinated with the National Guard on social proximity operations to educate citizens on how to file official complaints. Additionally, a joint operation involving the SSPM, the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), and the National Guard, utilizing specialized K9 units, has been implemented at the city's central bus station to deter crime and ensure traveler safety.
In the Benito Juárez borough of Mexico City, Mayor Luis Mendoza has launched a prevention and accompaniment campaign to protect residents from property dispossession. This strategy utilizes the Blindar BJ360° program, which provides 24/7 surveillance and patrols across 56 neighborhoods. The initiative includes legal advisory services for citizens facing potential property invasions.
