Ciudad Juárez hosts Back to School Fair with significant discounts

The Back to School Fair has launched in Ciudad Juárez, running from August 14 to August 16 at Parque Poniente. Organized by the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) in coordination with municipal and state governments, the event aims to support family economies during the upcoming school season.

Local businesses are offering discounts on various items, including school supplies, uniforms, footwear, backpacks, books, and technology, with price reductions ranging from 10% to 50%.

In addition to retail discounts, the event provides several community services. These include the condonation of birth certificate fees to assist with school enrollment, as well as free vaccination, weight control, and haircut services. The fair will also feature musical performances, dancing, and entertainment for children.
