Ciudad Juárez implements safety measures for Halloween

The Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) in Ciudad Juárez has launched a prevention scheme to ensure order and safety during Halloween festivities. The initiative includes specific guidelines for families, pedestrians, and drivers to prevent incidents during traditional trick-or-treating activities.

Key safety recommendations for protecting minors include ensuring children are always accompanied by adults and avoiding dark or deserted streets. Authorities advise citizens to walk in groups of trusted individuals to enhance collective security. Regarding candy, officials issued an alert to reject any products that are open or lack their original packaging.

For motorists, the SSPM warned against driving while wearing masks or costumes that restrict vision to prevent accidents. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activity or individuals immediately by calling the 911 emergency number.
