Ciudad Juárez reports cash seizure, shooting, and flooding

Several incidents have been reported in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. Authorities are investigating the seizure of $340,000 USD found inside a black, armored Audi Q5 following a high-speed pursuit. Two men, identified as Francisco Javier A. F. and Diego Adrián V. S., were detained after attempting to evade municipal police in the Oasis Revolución neighborhood.

In a separate violent incident, a 27-year-old InDriver driver, Jesús Manuel L. R., was shot in the lung during a ride to the Fronteriza neighborhood. The victim sought help from a citizen to reach a hospital after the two attackers fled the scene.

Additionally, heavy rainfall caused significant flooding in the Galeana neighborhood. The intersection of Teotepec and Chaucingo streets faced severe water accumulation after trash and debris blocked storm drains, causing water to enter private residences. Municipal emergency teams worked to clear the drains to restore flow.
