Ciudad Juárez police seize 10,000 fentanyl-like pills

In Ciudad Juárez, municipal police seized approximately 10,000 blue pills with characteristics similar to fentanyl following a vehicle pursuit in the Prados de Salvárcar neighborhood. The operation began when officers observed a 2016 Nissan Versa driving at high speeds from a commercial plaza, which subsequently collided with a Ford Escape during an attempt to evade authorities.

Inside the vehicle, officers discovered 10 plastic bags containing roughly 1.135 kilograms of the synthetic opioid. The suspects, identified as María Estefanía V. O. (30) and Carlos Eduardo M. M. (31), were arrested and placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry. Authorities estimate the street value of the seized narcotics to be approximately 3.4 million pesos.
