Ciudad Juárez police rescue woman from kidnapping

Municipal security agents in Ciudad Juárez rescued a woman who had been held captive for several hours. The victim reported being threatened and forced to make calls to her husband and acquaintances to demand ransom payments.

Following a report regarding the victim being transported in her own vehicle, police located the car in the Olivia Espinoza de Bermúdez neighborhood. A foot pursuit ensued, resulting in the detention of six individuals. Three suspects, identified as Jesús Iván G. C., Jaciel Eduardo N. F., and José Noé V. V., are facing kidnapping charges, while the other three were detained for disobedience and resisting authority. The victim was provided with medical attention and social work support, reporting no serious injuries.
