Ciudad Juárez residents conduct community cleaning drives

Community cleaning initiatives in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, have resulted in significant waste removal across different neighborhoods. In the Villa Nueva colony, the “Juntos por una comunidad más limpia” campaign completed its second stage, led by Councilwoman Rosario Ávila García. The effort successfully collected 7 tons of garbage from streets ranging from Rubén Jaramillo to the Caballerizas area.

In the Cerradas de San Pedro subdivision, residents Edgar Valenzuela and Yolanda Molina organized voluntary actions to clear streets of dirt, debris, and abandoned items. Using a private vehicle, the volunteers collected waste and coordinated with municipal cleaning crews during an urban reordering operation to ensure proper disposal. Residents noted that these efforts aim to improve urban appearance and community living conditions.
