Ciudad Juárez students propose urban and economic improvements

Students from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) recently held a meeting to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Ciudad Juárez. Participants proposed improvements in employment, affordable housing, public transportation, environmental protection, and public spaces.

Marco Bonilla addressed the students, noting that Ciudad Juárez contributes 48.7 percent of the state's economy and requires investment proportional to its importance. He highlighted issues regarding security, infrastructure, and cleanliness, while urging the youth to overcome political disillusionment through active citizen participation and community involvement.
