Ciudad Juárez expands technical training and dual‑education programs

The Centro de Asistencia y Servicios Tecnológicos (CAST) of CONALEP in Ciudad Juárez has become a key hub for the training, evaluation and certification of federal truck‑driver operators. The program follows Mexico's transport regulations, aiming to improve road safety, boost company competitiveness and support the country's economic development.

The Universidad Tecnológica de Ciudad Juárez will launch new specialization programs in mechatronics and other high‑skill fields. Developed together with German companies—including a partnership model first used by BMW—and Taiwan's Foxconn, these dual‑education schemes will combine classroom instruction with practical laboratory work to meet industry‑specific workforce needs.
