Ciudad Juárez to host 2026 National First Force Baseball Championship

Ciudad Juárez will host the 2026 National First Force Baseball Championship from October 10 to 17. This marks the return of the prestigious amateur tournament, organized by the Mexican Baseball Federation (Femebe), to the border city after more than a decade.

Eight teams will compete in the tournament, including Chihuahua (competing as the Dorados), Sonora, Baja California, Sinaloa, Nuevo León, Durango, AIJB Mexico City, and an international guest team from the United States. Matches will be held at the Gran Estadio Juárez and Carta Blanca stadiums, with entry to the games being free of charge.

The competition will follow a round-robin system, where the top four teams advance to the final stages to compete for bronze and the national title. The Chihuahua team, known as the Dorados, will be managed by Carlos ‘Pochas’ Orrantia.
