Ciudad Juárez: Young man killed in shooting near airport

A young man, approximately 20 years old, was killed in a shooting in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. The incident occurred at the intersection of Birmania and Eslovenia streets in the José Martí neighborhood, near the perimeter fence of the Abraham González International Airport.

According to reports, armed individuals forced the victim to exit a vehicle before shooting him at close range. The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the head and died at the scene. The assailants fled the area at high speed.

Municipal Public Security and the National Guard secured the scene, while forensic experts from the State Attorney General's Office collected shell casings to assist in the investigation. Authorities are working to identify the perpetrators and determine the circumstances of the attack.
