Ciudad Orinoco celebrates patron saint festivities

In the Independencia municipality of Ciudad Orinoco, Anzoátegui, local communities are celebrating the 114th anniversary of the enthronement of their patron saint, Nuestra Señora de la Soledad.

Mayor Hernán Rodríguez and local authorities organized a series of religious and cultural activities. The festivities included a Triduo, a solemn municipal council session, and the presentation of a new garment for the saint, designed by sacred artist José Gregorio Valencia.

Scheduled events include a midnight serenade, the Rosario de la Aurora, and a solemn mass. A highlight of the celebration is a traditional procession along the Orinoco River, where the image of the patron saint will bless the waters, followed by a parade through the main streets of the city.
