Ciudad Real allocates 220,000 euros to BM Caserío

The Ciudad Real City Council has renewed its financial support for the BM Caserío handball club for the 2026-2027 season. Mayor Francisco Cañizares signed a collaboration agreement worth 200,000 euros to support the club during its second consecutive season in the Liga ASOBAL.

In addition to the direct subsidy, the agreement includes 20,000 euros for advertising rights at the Quijote Arena, bringing the total municipal backing for the club to 220,000 euros. During the season presentation gala held at IFEDI, Mayor Cañizares praised the work of club president Julián Amores and noted that the team has become a “true city reference,” fostering a strong sense of community and pride within Ciudad Real.
