Ciudad Real Biomedical Conference presents 56 scientific works
The XI Ciudad Real Biomedical Research Conference brought together healthcare professionals and researchers to share scientific advancements within the province. Organized by the Ciudad Real Integrated Care Management and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, the event featured 56 scientific papers.
The research contributions were divided into three main areas: Hospital Clinical Research (26 papers), Basic Research and Primary Care (18 papers), and Translational Research (12 papers). The studies underwent a cross-review process to ensure methodological quality, including oral presentations on topics such as PET/CT use in monitoring B-cell lymphoma treated with CAR-T therapy.
Officials, including Health Delegate Francisco José García and IDISCAM Scientific Director Manuel Sánchez de la Torre, emphasized the importance of strengthening research across all sectors, particularly in Primary Care. The conference serves as a collaborative platform for the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service (SESCAM), the University of Castilla-La Mancha, and the Castilla-La Mancha Health Research Institute (IDISCAM).
