Ciudad Real crowns Pandorgo and Dulcinea 2026 during Pandorga celebrations

The city of Ciudad Real held its annual Pandorga festival on Friday evening, proclaiming Antonio Martín Císcar as Pandorgo 2026 and Andrea León as Dulcinea 2026. The ceremony took place in the Plaza Mayor and was presided over by Mayor Francisco Cañizares, councilor Mar Sánchez, and numerous local, regional and national officials.

President of the Diputación, Miguel Ángel Valverde, praised the event as a showcase of Manchego identity and devotion to the Virgen del Prado, and reiterated the goal of having the Pandorga declared a Fiesta de Interés Turístico Nacional. The festivities included a floral offering to the Virgen del Prado in the cathedral and attracted hundreds of residents and visitors from across the province.
