Ciudad Real honors journalists at Legado Quijote awards

Miguel Ángel Valverde, president of the Ciudad Real Provincial Council, highlighted the importance of journalism and communication during the second Legado Quijote 2026 Journalism and Communication Awards. The ceremony, held at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, honored eight professionals for their contributions to providing visibility to the reality of the La Mancha region.

Valverde emphasized that journalism serves as an essential tool for strengthening collective identity and projecting the province's potential. He noted that effective communication helps reinforce the confidence of local citizens in their own possibilities and helps bridge the gap between tradition and future aspirations.
