The Quijote Marathon is celebrating its 20th edition in Ciudad Real, Spain, with a record-breaking turnout of approximately 1,670 to 1,700 participants. The event includes the 30th Castilla-La Mancha Absolute and Master Marathon Championship, the 15th Half Marathon, and the 11th Ciudad Real 10,000m race.

This year features a modified, flatter, and wider circuit approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation to facilitate better competitive times. The races are scheduled to start at 8:30 AM from Ronda de Calatrava, with the finish line located at the Polideportivo Rey Juan Carlos I.

In addition to the main professional and amateur races, the 24th School Race will be held in coordination with the Athletics Federation of Castilla-La Mancha to promote the sport among younger athletes. The event features national athletics figures and offers over 7,000 euros in prizes.
