Ciudad Real hosts third edition of magic and mentalism festival

The third edition of the ‘Ciudad Real te ilusiona’ festival has seen significant public engagement through various magic and mentalism performances across Ciudad Real, Spain. The event features a mix of street-level magic and high-profile stage shows designed to bring the discipline closer to the community.

One highlight included a sensory mentalism performance by Shiro in the Plaza Mayor, an act that uses perception-based experiences to engage the audience. Additionally, the festival held a Grand Gala at the Teatro Quijano, which reached full capacity. This gala showcased a diverse range of disciplines, including comedic magic, card magic, and musical magic, featuring performers such as Xulio Merino, Dani Polo, David de la Torre, and Jessica Gulommal.

Pedro Lozano, the Councilor for Culture, noted that this third edition serves to consolidate the festival, which began as an experimental initiative to gauge local interest in magic. The event aims to transform the city into a meeting point for magic enthusiasts of all ages.
