Local governments face scrutiny over public services and management
Various municipal governments in Spain and Mexico are facing political scrutiny and public protests regarding local management. In Spain, political groups are challenging decisions on housing in Albacete, pedestrianization in Santander, and the management of social inequality in Alcalá de Guadaíra.
