Ciudad Rodrigo celebrates 25th Horse Fair

The 25th edition of the Ciudad Rodrigo Horse Fair (Feria del Caballo) has drawn significant crowds to the Salamanca province in Spain. The event features a diverse program including cultural exhibitions, equestrian routes, and professional competitions.

In the Doma Vaquera category, Andalusian rider Pablo Martín López was crowned winner of the Gran Premio Nacional. While the festival has provided a boost to local commerce and hospitality, the event was marked by the sudden death of an enthusiast, who passed away from natural causes while preparing to store his horse and carriage.

The festivities include artistic displays such as the ‘Trilogía: toros, caballo y caza’ exhibition and various equestrian shows held at the historic city walls and pits.
