Ciudad Valles official denies seeking political candidacy

Luis Ángel Contreras Malibrán, the General Secretary of the Ciudad Valles City Council, has clarified that his recent meeting with Ignacio Segura Morquecho, a state leader of the Green Ecological Party of Mexico (PVEM), was a cordial encounter rather than a move toward a political candidacy.

Contreras Malibrán stated that while he participates in party activities as a member, he has not officially declared an intention to run for public office. He emphasized that his current priority is fulfilling his responsibilities within the municipal administration, though he noted that party members may eventually decide to participate in electoral processes if invited.
