Ciudad Victoria advances regulations for new Youth Council
The Ciudad Victoria City Council is advancing a project to establish regulations for the Victorense Youth Council. The initiative aims to create a space for active participation among young people in the Tamaulipas capital.
Enrique Silva Hernández, councilman and commission president, stated that the draft has received approval from the Legal Counsel and the Regulatory Improvement Unit. The project, supported by Mayor Lalo Gattás, is designed to ensure the council functions as a participatory body rather than a purely administrative one. The mechanism will allow younger generations to propose ideas, express concerns, and contribute to the development of public policies that address their specific needs.
