Ciudad Victoria authorities rescue two huskies from neglect

Authorities in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, rescued a one-year-old female husky and her three-month-old puppy following reports of animal neglect. The intervention was carried out by the Investigative Police of the State Attorney General's Office (FGJT) in the Mainero neighborhood.

The rescue was prompted by a citizen report submitted through digital channels. Upon arrival, investigators found the animals exposed to severe environmental conditions and showing visible signs of physical deterioration. The property owner voluntarily surrendered the dogs to the authorities.

Specialized veterinary and photographic experts documented the animals' condition and coordinated their transfer to a veterinary clinic for medical evaluation and treatment. The seizure was conducted under Article 44 of the Tamaulipas Animal Protection Law. The huskies are expected to be placed under the care of animal shelters and protection organizations following their recovery.
