Ciudad Victoria repairs flood‑damaged streets and reviews state guard traffic collision

Municipal crews in Ciudad Victoria accelerated pothole repairs after recent heavy rains, fixing hundreds of defects on major avenues such as 16 de Septiembre, Carlos Adrián Avilés and Tamaulipas. Work covered 740 m² in central neighborhoods for over 5,200 residents and a larger effort of 29,000 m² benefitting roughly 7,000 citizens across 18 colonies.

Separately, a state guard vehicle changed lanes without caution on Calzada General Luis Caballero, colliding with an Italika motorcycle. The rider sustained only minor injuries and wore a helmet. Both vehicles incurred damage, traffic was briefly halted, and the parties reached an agreement for material compensation.
