Cruz Pérez Cuéllar meets Chihuahua business council to boost public‑private cooperation

Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, former mayor of Ciudad Juárez and candidate for the state coordination of the Fourth Transformation in Chihuahua, attended a session of the Canaco Servytur Chihuahua board as a special guest. He emphasized the need for ongoing dialogue, respect and permanent coordination between government and the private sector, citing the benefits of close collaboration during his administration in Ciudad Juárez.

Pérez Cuéllar highlighted achievements such as large‑scale infrastructure investments, public lighting, paving and security projects that were carried out without incurring debt. He outlined two priority axes for the state: regional development plans that leverage local strengths, and stronger coordination with the federal government to attract investment and improve infrastructure and social welfare across Chihuahua. Canaco president Alejandro Lazzarotto Rodríguez welcomed the meeting and presented the main needs of the business community.

Pérez Cuéllar also praised federal social programs like the seniors’ pension and Sembrando Vida for their impact in mountainous municipalities, while calling for greater state‑level presence in health, education and public services.
