Ciudad Victoria to Host First Governor’s Volleyball Cup 2026

The Instituto del Deporte de Tamaulipas (INDE Tamaulipas) announced the inaugural Governor’s Volleyball Cup “Tamaulipas 2026 – Américo Villarreal Anaya,” scheduled for 23–25 October 2026 in Ciudad Victoria, the state capital. The tournament will feature up to 200 teams from across Mexico in five age‑group categories – Juvenil Mayor (2007‑2008), Juvenil Menor (2009‑2010), Infantil Mayor (2011‑2012), Infantil Menor (2013‑2014) and Mini Voleibol (2015 and younger) – with separate boys and girls divisions. The top three finishers in each category will receive trophies, medals and balls, and organizers have promised additional surprises for participants.
