Ciudad Victoria's Torre Bicentenario faces operational challenges
The Torre Bicentenario, the tallest building in Ciudad Victoria at 120 meters, serves as a central hub for various Tamaulipas state government offices. The complex, part of the Parque Bicentenario, houses over two thousand employees across 22 floors, including secretariats for administration, social welfare, public works, and economy, as well as IMSS-Bienestar.
Despite its role in redistributing government operations from the city center to the eastern sector, the building faces significant internal and external operational issues. Reports indicate a severe lack of a logistical strategy to manage the facility effectively.
