Civil Aviation Agency hosts ICAO workshop on bird strike prevention

The Civil Aviation Agency (ACV) of Montenegro is hosting a professional workshop organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Tivat. Scheduled from September 22 to 24, the event focuses on the prevention and mitigation of risks associated with bird strikes and the impact of other animals on air traffic.

The workshop will bring together aviation sector representatives, primarily from European countries, to exchange information, experiences, and best practices regarding wildlife management at airports. The event also serves as a platform for international experts to analyze the measures Montenegro is implementing to reduce the impact of wildlife on aviation operations.

In addition to the workshop, Montenegro will host representatives from the ICAO Regional Expert Group on Safety (RESG) and the RESG Working Group for the development of the Regional Aviation Safety Plan (RASP WG).
